Facebook for PTA groups

There are a number of ways Facebook can be used to promote events, request contributions etc.

• Facebook allows you to share images, videos and ticketing links making your posts very engaging and shareable indeed.

• A Facebook page is a great way to publicly promote an event, request volunteers or thank sponsors.

• Creating a Facebook group is a great way for the committee members or event committees, to share files and information. People need to be added or request to join so it can be safely monitored. Non-members cannot see the group posts.

• Create a Facebook event and promote it on local community Facebook pages with a message to save the date! People can register their interest in attending.
