Did you know that Krispy Kreme Doughnuts provide an amazing quick and lucrative fundraising option for your PTA? You can order their Glazed Original doughnuts at a greatly discounted price and then make a healthy profit on sales. In the UK, a box of 12 costs just £5.50 working out at just 46p each. Think about it, these quality sweet treats could easily sell for £1 making more than 100% profit! Many a PTA group has used Krispy Kreme doughnut fundraising and rave about the success of it, many saying that they sold out in minutes! Now that’s the kind of fundraising I like! It’s also the type of fundraising that’s very repeatable. Perhaps you could make it a regular Friday after school fundraiser?
You do not need to be a registered charity. The idea is to pass on any funds raised to a charity or community good cause.

Our top tips for successful fundraising:
Decide in advance how many dozen you are going to order. There is a minimum order of 5 dozen and a maximum order of 50 dozen per event, per day
Order online at least 10 days in advance of your fundraising event
Be aware that your order will be confirmed within 3 days of your enquiry
Payment is taken 4 days before the event
This is a Click and Collect deal only. You’ll need to pick up your order from a Krispy Kreme collection point on the morning of your event
To find your nearest collection point, start an order by pressing the ‘Buy now’ button, add 5 dozen to an order, click on your basket and press ‘Choose method’, enter your town and press ‘Find a store’. Hopefully, there will be one near you!
When setting up your PTA stall, have kitchen roll handy to wrap extra doughnuts that are bought to bring home for other family members
Get some year 6 students to help. Add some of the money raised to the year 6 fundraising pot
Volunteers should wear plastic gloves when handing out the doughnuts
Keep the doughnuts on a table behind the sales area but surround yourselves with desks from the crowd as the sale really is a bun fight!!
Have an area to store your empty boxes for recycling

Get your PTA thinking caps on, explore opportunities that might fit well with your school. For example, if you are ordering for Frosting Friday anyway,put a shout out if any family would like to order a full box for £10. They may even order more boxes if they have a party that weekend! Just make sure you order enough as kids and parents alike will be after these sweet delights!
Ordering the minimum 5 dozen at £27.50 and selling at £1 each is £60 - that is £32.50 profit right there. 10 dozen is 120 doughnuts, sold at £1 makes your PTA £65 profit.
